Cook the Pasta * Boil the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. * Drain well and allow the pasta to cool for a few minutes.
Season the Rigatoni * In a large bowl, toss the cooked rigatoni with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Air Fry * Spread the seasoned rigatoni in a single layer in your air fryer basket. * Air fry at 400°F for 10–15 minutes, shaking the basket every 4–5 minutes, until the noodles are crispy and golden.
Make the Hot Sauce Butter * While the pasta cooks, whisk together the melted butter and hot sauce in a small bowl.
Sauce the Noodles * Pour the hot sauce butter mixture over the crispy noodles directly in the air fryer basket. * Toss well to coat and air fry for an additional 1–2 minutes to help the sauce cling to the noodles.
Serve * Transfer to a serving platter. * Top with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. * Serve immediately with ranch dressing for dipping.
For maximum crunch, don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. The noodles should be spread out so they crisp up instead of steaming. The hotter the sauce, the more addictive these crispy little bites become.
