a warm, slightly cheeky origin tale about a too-hot-to-cook Tuesday, a sister's dare, a neighbor's cucumber surplus, and the pickle-brine dressing that came out of it. It runs about 350 words, sized for the intro spot above a recipe card.
Remove the ramen noodle block from the package and place it in a food processor.
Pulse until the noodles become a fine crumb or powder consistency.
Add the sliced cucumbers to a large container or bowl with a lid.
Sprinkle the crushed ramen powder and seasoning packet over the cucumbers.
Pour in the dill pickle juice and olive oil.
Seal the container and shake vigorously until all cucumber slices are evenly coated.
Serve immediately for maximum crunch, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Optional Add-Ins
Choose one or more for extra flavor:
* 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning
* Fresh chopped dill
* Cracked black pepper
* Red pepper flakes for heat
* Everything bagel seasoning
* Grated Parmesan cheese
* A squeeze of fresh lemon juice
* Thinly sliced red onion
* Crumbled feta cheese
Ryan Tyler Cooks Tip
For the best texture, eat this within 30 minutes of making it. The cucumbers stay crisp while soaking up all that salty, tangy dill pickle ramen flavor, creating the perfect high-crunch snack with almost no prep work.
